A speculative house development on the site of a former Mink farm.  Although confined on all sides, the site has attractive features such as the gorge and burn on the edge of the site, established trees to the south and one of the most impressive views in Shetland.

Narrow section layouts were adopted to make best use of the site. The closeness of the houses and asymetric roofs also continue the density and appearance of the distinctive triangular 'Toblerone' chalets overlooking the site.

The gabled orientation of this development was intended to both maintain good daylighting to, and views from the existing chalets between the houses.
